What is the difference between a Grass Electric Pitch and a Grass Super Electric Pitch?

Grass Electric pitches are located both around the perimeter and also in central areas of the park.  They have a 16amp electrical hook-up point on the pitch, with shared drinking water taps and waste facilities.

Our Grass Super Electric pitches are located around the perimeter of the park.  They have a 16amp electrical hook-up point, and also have a drinking water tap, grey waste drain and TV aerial connection at the back of the pitch.

Grass Electric and Super pitches are both suitable for caravans, motorhomes, campervans, tents and trailer tents.

What is the difference between Grass Super Electric Pitch (type 1) and Grass Super Electric Pitch (type 2)?

Both type 1 and type 2 Super pitches are suitable for caravans, motorhomes, campervans, tents and trailer tents.  The difference between these pitches is the location of the facilities bollard. If you have a caravan and intend to hook up to water and waste, you should note that the facilities bollard is shared between two Super pitches.

Type 1 pitches have the bollard located to the left of the caravan (when looking from the front). All leads and hoses are required to be at least 4 metres from the back corner of the caravan to reach the bollard.

Type 2 pitches have the bollard located to the right of the caravan. All leads and hoses are required to be at least 8 metres from the back corner of the caravan to reach the bollard.

What deposit is required to book a pitch?

A deposit of £60 per week is required at the time of booking, or the full amount if the start date of your holiday is within 28 days of your booking.

The full amount is also required at the time of booking if the total of your holiday is less than £60.

All deposits are non-refundable.

The balance must be paid at least 28 days before the start date of your holiday.

Can I cancel or change the dates of my booking?

If you cancel more than 28 days prior to the start of your stay, your deposit is non-refundable, however, we may be able to allow a transfer of dates within the same year, subject to availability. This may only be done once.

If you cancel within 28 days of the start of your stay, no refund will be given and the full cost of your holiday will be charged.  No date transfers are possible for bookings cancelled within 28 days of the start of your stay.  All cancellations must be made in writing either by email or post.

We recommend that you consider appropriate holiday insurance to cover holiday cancellation.

We have also had other pets staying with us in the past including cats and budgies.  Please check with us if you wish to bring a different type of pet.

Can I put an extra tent or gazebo up on my pitch?

One small pup tent (maximum size 2m x 1.5m) can be added to most bookings at an additional charge.

Standard size gazebos (maximum size 3m x 3m) can be added to bookings at an additional charge where a pitch of sufficient size to maintain spacing requirements is available.  The online booking system will offer the option to add a gazebo only where it is possible to do so.

All extra pup tents and gazebos must be added at the time of booking as we cannot guarantee they will be able to be added at a later date.

One of the very best campervan / caravan / tourer / camping sites on the East Coast. The staff are excellent, extremely helpful and friendly, the shop/cafe is very good. Facilities are very clean and kept to a very high standard. Children love it, they have their own play area. Older generation, like myself, are also made to feel very welcome and also dog friendly with lovely walks. Cannot fault on any way.

Had a beautiful week there it was soooo peaceful. The showers and toilets are spotless and kitchen area for washing up and food prep is spotless. it had a bath room there so bath can be taken instead of shower. The owners are really lovely friendly and helpful. It's worth every penny and the best place ever for camping so we will be going back every year. 10/10 the best. Thank you x

Lovely campsite. Amenities were decent and the non-electric pitches were a good size and lovely and quiet. The on-site shop was very handy and also served wonderful fresh food. 👌👌 Beautiful surroundings. The pool was sadly closed, but we spent most time at the beach any way!
